This little note holder is so handy! I have one in the kitchen and one near my computer desk. It can hold recipe cards, receipts, coupons, note pads, and stamps. That’s just a few of the items I use these holders for. The one shown in the photo is on the garage door. It typically holds things I don’t want to forget when I leave the house; like keys or cards for the mailbox. It’s so easy to make! You can make these with left over wood scrapes and paint in the garage.
Tools
Hand saw, Drill, Drill bit 3/16″, gorilla glue, Oil based wall paint, acrylic paint and brushes
Supplies
Wood scraps (1 1/2″ x 1/2″), 4 clothespins
Instructions
- Cut the wood to 12″ in length.
- Drill a hole on each end for hanging later.
- Take the clothespins apart and paint them.
- Paint(oil based) the 12″ wood piece the background color.
- After the pins dry, put them back together. Glue them to the wood piece with the gorilla glue.
- Add decorative acrylic paint if desired.
