One of the cutest and easiest sewn gifts are memory bears! I found this pattern at Walmart by ‘It’s Sew Easy.’ There’s lots of cute memory Bear patterns out there. I had this pattern laminated to save it.
This Bear became a baby shower gift for my cousin, who’s baby shower/ nursery room theme is Winnie the Pooh. I was able to sew it up in one Saturday. How fun it was to place Tigger in one ear and Eeyore in the other.
Definitely a great beginner sewing project. Old clothing like sweaters, plaid shirts, or baby’s clothing can be used to make a special Bear. Each of my children wanted this Bear, so it’s a win with the kids!
